Goose Down Comforter
The entire experience was great. Easy to order, was here in a timely manner, and I just love the quality of my comforter.I chose the orange to brighten up my bedroom during the winter greys of washington state, and it works!

Traffic Cone Orange
I was really looking forward to getting this. This burnt orange color is one of my favorites and there aren't many options out there! Unfortunately, as soon as I opened the box I knew it wasn't going to work. This is a much brighter orange than I was expecting, and the fabric has a sheen to it. It really looks like a sleeping bag and a construction vest mated, so its headed back and the search for a burnt orange down alternative comforter continues...
Perfectly Comfortable
Received it in less than a week. It's comfortable, warm, and above all it's stylish. Couldn't recommend a better product for the price.

Okay
I had really high hopes for this comforter because I made the decision to buy a down-alternative comforter, as opposed to a real down one, because I thought it would be better. It really does not compare to real down, though it is pretty warm. It's also relatively thin and flat, however, which was disappointing.

Additionally, the description says that the comforter has a corner tab. The comforter I received has no such thing. It was fine because I just tied the duvet cover to the corners of the insert, but I was still disappointed. Overall, it really does not feel that much different from any other comforter I've had, and when I'm out of college I'll buy something that is real down. It will work for now, though.
Excellent for lightweight duvet filling!
I live in an area with very moderate winter climates, so I wasn't concerned about warmth so much as a nice bit of loft to fill out a duvet cover. Works great for that, and seems to be a good product for the price.

Product Features :

• Luxury goose down-alternative comforter for year round
• Box stitching design to avoid any shifting, Piped edges and four corner tabs to anchor duvet cover

This is a retraction from my previous negative review.
My initial review was based on removing this comforter from the package and seeing this very thin blanket. Much like another reviewer I freaked out a bit. It has indeed fluffed up nicely and is very comfy and warm. After further examination. It is very nicely constructed. I'm pretty happy with it now.

Word of warning. They come packaged in a sealed plastic container. When you first unzip it, it comes out very flat. Don't freak out like I did. Give it a day or two to fluff up.

Like sleeping under a cloud
What a great purchase. I had been looking for a new down comforter: light-weight, warm, and 100% down. This was just the ticket. It is literally "light as a feather" so it's like sleeping under a cloud. It's thin and very light-weight, but incredibly warm and delicious to snuggle into. The baffle construction keeps the down in place so there are no "cold spots." I put it in a duvet cover and that, along with a light blanket, is enough to keep me toasty warm at night (I keep my house very cool - sometimes as low as 50 degrees - and it's wonderfully cozy under the comforter).
Grand Deal!!!
I ordered on Monday, I received Wed. and it is lovely. I needed two, but I only ordered one (skeptical)..... now I'll order the other. I have always, always owned down comforters, but I have had to pay a small fortune for them. Right now at 54 and in my last year of law school, I'm broke so I took a chance on this one--- but it paid off. I hope it's volume that allows them to sell such a nice piece at such a fair price-- or maybe it's entry into the market-- quite frankly I don't care. This is an exceptional comforter at the price. I also held it up to the light and it is truly all down.
~peace~

Love the colors.
I was very pleased when I received this comforter. I looked at dozens of different comforters and ended up going with this one because of the very nice price and the colors that were available. It's pretty fluffy for the price and its made out of very soft cotton. It is not rough or stiff at all. It arrived very quickly and my daughter loves it.

Cheap Pinzon Signature Pyrenees Hypoallergenic Medium Warmth White Goose Down Full/Queen Comforter For sale

Enjoy a great night's sleep with a Pinzon comforter just right for your needs. This Pyrenees Medium Warmth White Goose Down comforter, with 40 total ounces of white goose down, offers a medium level of warmth for year-round comfort. Boasting a fill power of 600, the comforter offers a premium down value. Fill power indicates how many cubic inches of space an ounce of down will occupy, and anything at the 600 level is considered in the industry to be excellent. The higher the fill power, the larger and stronger the clusters of down. Large clusters provide superior insulation, breathe better, and last much longer than smaller, fragile down clusters used in many lower quality comforters.

Full/Queen Comforter Buying Guide

The Pyrenees comforter is made with a 14-inch-baffle-box design from end to end. Unlike comforters with regular baffle box construction, which can experience a shifting of the down fill, Pinzon's Pyrenees comforter utilizes the patented PermaBaffle shiftless construction. It's the only patented method to construct baffle box comforters that will not permit filling to shift, even after washing. The end result is that you can enjoy a nice even warmth during every single rest throughout the life of your comforter, because the goose down stays evenly distributed all the way to each edge.

The Pyrenees comforter not only boasts fabulous utility, but also good looks. The leak-proof shell is made from 100 percent cotton in a 400-thread-count Dobby weave, and it features an attractive stripe pattern. Safe to clean at home in the washer and dryer, Pinzon's Pyrenees goose down comforter may also safely be dry cleaned. The full/queen-sized, medium-warmth Pyrenees comforter measures 90 by 96 inches.

Fantastic Value
I spent a great deal of time looking for a good quality comforter. As such, I read many reviews. While many were somewhat helpful, none of them really helped me zero in on whether or not this particular comforter would suit the needs of my wife and I. How warm is your room when you turn in for the night? Do you generally run hot or cold as a general rule? Are people reviewing this w/ other blankets involved? What exactly is WARM? So, I will address a few points that might help the rest of you out because for the life of me I couldn't find a review that laid out the important pieces.

A. Temperature - we go to sleep at 65 degrees F. Our thermostats roll back at 7pm so I am quite comfortable saying its actually 65 degrees when we go to bed.

B. Personal preferences for warmth - my wife is almost always cold. I am almost always hot. During the night, we flip flop. I cool down and become comfortable, she warms up and starts to sweat.

C. We only...

Best comforter I ever bought!
I have owned many many comforters over the years and this is by far the best. The previous one I was using felt too heavy and was way too hot except for the coldest of winter nights. The current one I was using was way too thin and the down clumped in the middle and left the perimeters bare (it was an expensive one bought at a high-end well-known department store too); I returned it after 6 months since it had a 4 year warranty and exchanged it for another one which supposedly was stitched thru to prevent the down from shifting. Wrong advertising, returned to department store again! After reading the reviews on this one, worth a try since my options were so limited. Extremely happy: it is plush enough to give that "comfy" feeling but not so heavy as to weight you down. The covering material has the feel of silk; the pattern is gorgeous. Most importantly, NO shifting of down whatsoever, so it is advertised correctly. And also importantly, if it has to be machine washed, it can...
Pinzon Pyrenees Down Comforter (mediium wight)
Even though listed as medium weight, the comforter is light. It has provided excellent warmth during some of the coldest nighrs this winter.
We had been using two and even three blankets before receiving this one. We have retired the others--the Pinzon alone provides all the warmth we need. This is a first-rate product and I highly recommend it.

Product Features :

• Full/Queen-size white goose down comforter provides medium warmth for year-round comfort; made in the USA of imported materials

WARM even in Chicago winter
Needed a new quilt/comforter, and we keep the house at 58 at night--so I wanted a warm one that didn't cost the earth or a mortgage payment. THIS one was noted as being VERY warm (and allergy resistant since for allergy reasons I cannot do down). IT IS. Bravo. Though it doesn't look heavy and isn't to sleep under, had to turn the heat in the waterbed down to a lower temperature (good for the winter heating bills). Fabulous item for it's price.

Well made, very warm
I chose this to fit a queen-size platform storage bed because I didn't want the sides to overhang below the drawers. It is VERY warm, but not too heavy. Excellant loft. Baffel boxes keep filling from shifting.
Very warm, very puffy, very clean and soft
Did my homework before buying this, had some concerns about non-down but this is very very nice. You will still want an all-cotton duvet cover. Good for people who need a Siberian down type comforter but have money, allergy or pet issues. Me, I like down, but I have a rescue pup with a nervous bladder, and there is NOTHING I can do if the sirens drive by or the alarm goes off. SO....down did not launder well and I don't want to sleep with or pay for all that dry-cleaning solvent.....

You get what you pay for
The name of this product is very misleading: it contains only 5% down. It is also noisy--the lining makes a relatively loud crinkling sound like plastic. This may still go away, I have no idea. Other reviewers report feathers sticking out and poking people after just a few weeks. But it costs 1/10 what a nice down comforter does...so...you get what you pay for. To its credit, it is warm, has nice loft, and is light.

They have changed it!
I ordered one of these last year around Christmas and was very happy with the quality. So much so that I ordered two more this year for my children. The comforter I received this year is nothing like the one last year. It is exactly like the posts that describe it as sewn together sheets with feathers poking out of it! You can feel the plucked feathers everywhere! Yuck! The one from last year is soft, with fine down and not a feather poking anywhere. It is sad that there is such inconsistency in the product.
Heavenly Beds on a Budget
This company, Natural Comfort has to be the best kept secret out there. Whoever you are... BLESS YOU! I love your stuff, loves it! I have to compare this to the overprice Pacific Coast Feather Co. I used to buy their products, but not anymore as long as this one is affordable. This company actually uses GOOSE FEATHER DOWN. A big difference from "feather filled". Down products should be made of goose or duck down and is a soft gentle under feather that looks like a matured dandelion head flying in the breeze. Down feathers are used by the birds is used for bird nesting and insulation for birds to stay warm during cold seasons that's why its such a great product for bedding. Feather filled can be made of many types of fowl feathers... particulary chicken, wild game, turkey or goose from commercial farms and are hard and pointy. Feather filled products will tend to poke out of fabric or feel "hard" under your touch. With this comforter, you get nothing like it. You can tell its real...

Excellent Value and Comfort
I was apprehensive at first about the quality of this comforter due to the lack of reviews relative to the other more expensive offerings on Amazon. There was only one positive review at the time.

I'm glad I decided to order this comforter. My basis for comparison are the Down and Alternative Down comforters I've purchased from Costco and Sam's Club. This comforter is softer and just as filled as the high quality >$60 comforters offered at Costco. Compared to the $30 comforter I purchased at Sam's Club, there is no comparison--the Sam's Club comforter (forgot the brand) was thinly filled and was't close to the quality of this or the items purchased at Costco. I understand there is a price difference with the Sam's version being the cheapest; but I'd rather pay $10 more and have a comforter with comparable quality to the higher priced comforter's I've purchased in the past.

In summary, this comforter is a great value and is soft, warm, and generously filled.

Good comforter, but not what I expected
I purchased the queen comforter. I'm only knocking one star off the review, as the product wasn't what I expected. I've purchased down alternatives that feel like real down comforters (that is, soft, not too firm, and very "airy). This comforter, however, was nothing like a down alternative I've purchased in the past. It feels like a good-quality bed-in-a-bag comforter. It is more stuffed and firmer than the usual bed-in-a-bag, so that's nice IF that's what you are looking for. Even though it wasn't what I expected, it works wonderfully for its purpose. I purchased it to use with an Ikea duvet cover. Usually, these covers run a little baggy on my down comforters--but not in this case! It's overstuffed quality fits the full/queen duvet like a glove. No loose, baggy corners or bunching up in the duvet cover. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I only knocked one star to warn others that if you are looking for a down feel, this is not the comforter. If you want more full and...
Great for the price
This comforter is not as full as promised in the description as it states it's double filled but I have to say it's very soft and my daughter loves it on her bed. It seems pretty sturdy and for the price well worth the purchase.

Great comforter!
For the price I was expecting much less quality for this comforter, but it is so soft, fluffy and comfortable! I am totally impressed with the quality and the manufacture of it. An excellent purchase for those in the market for a lightweight, down-alternative comforter, and you can't beat this price!

Better Than Down
Based on the review by Lisa, I purchased this comforter to replace the down comforter I ruined in the washing machine. :(

After only minutes under this blanket I could not believe how wonderfully warm it was! It wasn't too heavy but seemed to keep me warm much better than the actual down comforter had.

My husband has to sleep with a fan on - no matter the weather - and I am not always a 'fan', pun intended. Plus we usually used two additional quilts on top of the down comforter. Not so with this one. This blanket allows for me to stay warm while he enjoys his fan. No more trying to compromise "who gets to be comfortable tonight" :D And no more needing additional blankets to get comfortable at night.

Plus, this item can be washed in the washing machine rather than being dry-cleaned ((oops, I suppose I should have checked my down comforter before I tossed it in the wash)) but isn't as bulky as a down one so it doesn't fill the washing machine so...
down alternative = good ;)
This is a fine comforter, super soft and fluffy but not too hot at night.
I especially like the price was not high but don't let that low price fool you, this is very nicely made, and high quality. I am comparing it to both a 'down' and another 'down alternative' comforter which I also own. "Down" is difficult to clean and expensive as it has to be dry-cleaned, this one is warm and cozy and light. We'll see how it holds up in the wash and dry. It also arrived quickly.

So warm!
I've had a down confoter before, and paid a heavy price at Walmart for it too over 100$ It was a queen size. It ended up getting torn and losing feathers all over the place so we had to get rid of it. So I found this one $72.XX for a KING! I was sold. It says its the ALT so I don't have to worry about feather poking me in the middle of the night. its HUGE on my bed haha its not as fluffy as I thought it would be but I just took it out of the bag it was stuffed into, it was rolled and folded but in the smallest possible bag they could make I assume. I used it last night after my feet got cold and it did its job NICE and warm. Nice and SOFT! overall very pleased

Very comfy.
This comforter is extremely soft and comfortable. I LOVE IT!!! It's not too bulky and is warm. I ordered a king size comforter despite having a queen bed, and I am glad I did so. It hangs a little past the mattress on both sides, and I can wrap myself up in it. Although, my comforter had a small black mark (looks like permanent marker) on one side. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back, so I just have the other side turned up. There are no valid tags on this comforter to verify that it is what it says it is. The only "identification" is a notecard sized piece of white cardboard with the information typed on it. But, as I said before, I love the item. I could've paid double the price for something not as comfortable.
Love it!
I purchased this product because of the high thread count and the down alternative content (allergies) and hoped it would be good. I was very happy with the results. This comforter feels like silk and is large enough that it hangs nicely on all sides of our king size bed. It's also very soft and keeps us warm when it gets cold putside. I would recommend this product for sure!

Great product
My husband tends to sleep hot and I cold so this product has been a great compromise. It's just the right amount of plush to feel comfortable without being too heavy. Fits well in my duvet cover.

Warm and cozy
I live in the Rocky Mountains. Even a cold night doesn't bother me anymore. Great comforter and price. I would recommend.
Great comforter
Ordered this for my son who loves it. He enjoys the ability to switch the colors when he feels like it. It was warm enough for the Arizona winter while still being usable in the summer. However if you're in a heavy winter state, you may want something a little heavier. Otherwise, it's a great comforter.
