Great sheets, great price
I recently purchased an expensive down comforter and wanted to make sure to protect it with a duvet cover. I also wanted a duvet cover that would feel nice and soft, give my room a clean and modern feel, and most importantly, not break the bank.

I would highly recommend this duvet and pillowcase cover set, especially for the price. The feel of the duvet cover is very soft and the colors look great. Neutral, clean lines, color looks just the way I thought it would from the pictures.

The only note I would make is that the duvet cover, after I washed it, is not as thin and crisp looking as it is in the picture. It's actually much softer and thicker than it looks, which is not a bad thing at all (unless you're looking for a more thin-sheet look and feel). I'm sure if I ironed it, it would look crisper, but I'm pretty happy with this.

Hotel Duvet Cover-Medium Quality
I have to say that this looks a lot better in the photo. I have similar set in blue which I love and was hoping to get this as a backup set. But, the feel of the cotton is rough and it wrinkles a lot. It does not feel like the quality bedding I was hoing for. It might be good for a guest room. I wouldn't purchase it for a main bedroom. It just doesn't hold up well.

The sheets look gorgeous and feel great but I think the pillows could be a little softer, maybe I am just ultra sensitive. They aren't scratchy or anything but I would have proffered softer cotton.

Gorgeous, very satisfied!
I was hesitant to spend so much on any comforter set initally, however I was just thrilled with this 13-piece queen size bedding set from The Hotel Collection. The sheets are crisp and wrinkle-free, yet soft and cozy. The comforter itself is down-alternative and comfortable standing alone, gorgeous creamy white, and looks great by itself and yet even better with the stunning duvet cover...the photo does not do it justice! elegant and affordable duvet cover!
i received this duvet cover set just yesterday. it was a cinch to put the comforter inside the duvet cover. there are a row of buttons on the side of the cover. the pillow cases were just as easy. there were no buttons, just an opening for the pillow to go in. the cotton is soft and comfortable. i like the subtle shimmer of the stripes. very clean and pretty look. simple and elegant and luxurious at the same time. the color is true to the picture posted. duvet covers are usually hundreds of dollars. i feel like i got a great deal.

i haven't washed the duvet yet, but will update when i do.

It's pretty but it is a sheet. A very Thin sheet at that . Not a duvet. I thought it would be a little thicker

Crisp looking and fits my Cal King perfectly. Didn't wrinkle too badly out of the dryer but I took it out immediately. Beware of washing anything else with this at the same time. Whatever you put in the washer with it will end up inside the giant pocket and become a huge pain to get out. :-)

nice material yet color is lighter than posted picture
I received this item this morning i was anxiously awaiting its arrival so i could use it with my new down comforter . When i opened the package i was a little bummed because the color was lighter than what it appeared in the posted picture and it would not have matched the look i was going for, but i must say i did open the top to feel the material and it was awesome. i just wish it was a shade darker !! so im going to return it for the same prodcut but in the color 'Taupe'. All in all its good product just a tad lighter in color than it appears in the posted picture.

Great quality, great price
I love this duvet set - the colors are simple and pretty and the fabric is really soft. It's not too heavy which is great because some duvets can be so stiflingly hot. This is light but not "cheap" feeling at all. Plus, you can't beat the price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Colors look completely different
I have absolutely NO idea where or what set they took pictures of this from but it looks completely different in person? More like a green/brown and off / dirty white color... Can't believe it. They feel ok? definately nothing special. Last time I ever buy a product like this on amazon. I will definately be heading out to the stores for future bedding set purchases. Luxury my A**. I have done TONS of shopping on amazon in the past 2 months and This has to be one of my most disappointing purchases. Stay clear and Take a guess at the other reviewers..? I don't know what they saw but I would stay clear. Maybe I'm just used to a higher end of bedding? Good luck!

This is a great duvet cover for the money. It has a slight sheen to it that makes it look very expensive. The design and colors are very neutral yet chic... would look great in any bedroom. It was easy to put on our duvet, and I love that it has buttons (I know our last duvet cover did not, so the duvet would sometimes come out!). Great product, would recommend!

Did not recieve what I purchased- seller tried to have me remove negative comment!
I was not satisfied with this product because when I recieve it is had small white squares embrordered on it, not dots. It made it look a lot more modern that what I was going for. So I thought, no big deal, I returned it and was promptly refunded my money. What was upsetting is that when I made my first comment about this product, I said the set was different than it looked in the picture and gave it 3 out of 5 stars due to the misrepresentation. I thought it was a fair product review. Then I was overloaded with emails from the seller asking me to remove my negative review. i ingnored them, but kept getting requests on a weekly basis. Then my first review misteriously disappeared from this site. It makes me wonder how many other bad reviews this seller has recieved. I hope this review lasts a while so people can get a fair and honest review before they make a purchase.

So luxurious!
This duvet had quick delivery AND instead of 450 thread count the packaging it came in said it was 550, even better! It is silky soft and I know it will become even better the more it gets washed! Very luxurious and has a subtle sheen. A GREAT buy for the product you are getting! I would highly recommend this product for anyone who looks forward to getting into a comfy cozy bed every night.

Very nice
This is a very nice duvet for the price. The 600 thread cotton is very smooth and soft. The white "dots" (they're squares) are subtle and understated. The material doesn't slide off my sheets the way a more satiny duvet did. The only reason i don't give 5 stars is the material is a bit thinner than I think a duvet should be, but for this amazing price, it's a good solid product that I would purchase again.

Finding a black duvet was hard enough, finding a black duvet with outstanding quality and look at a reasonable price, impossible, I thought. This item is beautiful, soft, and looks like I paid far more for it than I did. I wash it on delicate cycle, dry low, and it comes out beautiful, no wrinkles. I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for such an item.

Very good comforter cover

Great duvet cover
This is almost exactly what i'd wanted. It's very soft, even before the first washing, and only felt better after being washed and dried. Quality is excelllent - no flaws. The button closure is a little tricky but the end result is worthwhile. Fits my queen sized duvet perfectly. My only very minor complaint is that i'd hoped the color would be a darker chocolate, whereas in the light its more a light-medium chocolate color, but still i'm very happy.

I am so hapy with this Duvet Cover. It was Egyptian Cotton
which is the best. The color was exactly as the picture.
And the Duvet Cover held my comforter perfectly..was not
skimpy. Really does not wrinkle once it is in use. I'm a

Colors are true to picture
I have sage green walls which explains my choice of the Sage/Chocolate duvet cover. The duvet blends beautifully with the walnut of the bed and sage green of the walls. The pattern evokes a calm, elegant feeling; the feel of the fabric says quality. I like this!

Super Super Soft
This duvet cover is super super soft and smooth. You skin glides across it. It feels incredible!

I ordered the full/queen size for our queen size bed and comforter. The duvet is about an 1" too large on each side -- a total of 2" too big top/bottom and side/side. There are ties sewn into the corners of the cover so you can lash the duvet in place. If you don't use these, your comforter will end up clumped in a corner of the duvet cover. Use the ties -- they do their job.

The photo is a little misleading as to the colors. From the top/pillow end, there's about 18" of green, then a border, then chocolate brown. The underside of the duvet is all chocolate brown. At the top/pillow edge, green meets chocolate brown with no border. The photo on Amazon looks like the duvet folds back to reveal a border and green.

Did I mention that it was super exquisitely soft and smooth and warm?
A great value and so soft!
I bought this bedding set because I wanted something for a reasonable price that would cover up my old bedding. Since I didn't want to spend too much on bedding I was expecting the quality to be somewhat lacking. I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and softness of this product. I was also worried that it would bleed and mess up the white part (I bought navy and white), but it came out fine. This product is a great value for a simple duvet set! Also I have had it for a few weeks and my cat's claws haven't made little pills in the fabric (which I why I had to cover up the old one)

Not Bad for the Price
The duvet cover looked good when I first put it on the bed. After the first wash it came out of the dryer with quite a few wrinkles. I tried ironing it but it was such a big job I gave up and just put it on the bed as it was. The black striping is elegant but like any black cotton fabric it attracts lint.

Cheap set
Cheap set that looks just ok. Shrinks in the wash and dryer every single time. I would not recommend this to anyone. Spend more and get a better product. After one year, a King set will probably fit tight on a Twin Bed!
