It was beautiful, and then began to fall apart...
I really do like the feel and look of this duvet. For the first month I was very happy with it. However I then got a foster cat that wasn't entirely litter trained, and he really enjoyed marking this duvet. As a result I had to wash it about once a week. (He was good at sneaking in the room, what can I say?) After about 3 washes the seams started pulling out and fraying. This is a pretty quick thing to repair, but it does result in uneven stitching along the side.
While I do understand the amount of washing I was doing was well above average for what a duvet should expect it still didn't hold up through enough washes for me to find it a good deal, even at this price.
So go for it if you have a rarely used guest room, but I would certainly avoid it for any bed where you expect to need to wash it on a regular basis.

The blue is a little darker than pictured and the seams unraveled first time in the wash. Easy enough to fix. A nice looking duvet.

I got this duvet set in the sand color. It looks like gold and is incredibly elegant and soft. It is a great deal for a quality duvet cover dramatically under the typical $100 price tag for duvet bedding.
