Pure flimsy junk not even 400 count feel
This LOOKS like another 1200 count Duvet I've had for about 8 years and has finally seen its day--7 nights a week. That one was sturdy and felt just coarse enough; I LOVED the feel of it. This one is not at all like my other, it feels light and more absorbent; I can see the comforter through this "1200" count Egyptian Cotton. It feels WAY lighter even than my 600 count sheets (which I cannot see the comforter through, either). It's too soft too, feels like it's had fabric softener, almost like flannel. As it is larger than the comforter, there is naturally overlap of he duvet; it just feels like thin cloth, such as pillowcase around you at that part, whereas my other 1200 ct was thicker and more supportive if it overlapped. You have to move the comforter flush with the top and the end you sleep on and stay on that side. I use it with a comforter that is solid on one side and checked on the other--I can only lay it one side up, as the checked side looks ugly coming through the...
