Beautiful and comfortable
Be forewarned that the colors are a little off from the picture. The white section is more of a light steel grey and the grape purple on the end is almost a purple prune color. There is a lighter plum section that you can't really see because the duvet is folded back. Despite this, the colors look attractive together and I have received complements. The duvet cover is soft, the pillows are a nice detail. Everything is relatively well-made for the price. I just wish this came with a bed skirt like the comforter set! This has been annoying to try and match since I'm looking specifically for the prune color in an extra long bedskirt.
UPDATE: I meant to come back and review this after washing...sorry it took so long. I must admit after washing it, it's kind of a pain. I usually take my duvet covers out of the dryer warm and put them on the bed and the wrinkles fall out. Didn't work for this one, I had to iron the duvet. Also, after washing there were a handful of random loose...

A beautiful addition
Despite the other two reviews, I found the color to be almost dead on (maybe it's their monitors) and it matched the walls perfectly in my granddaughter's bedroom. The six piece set was beautiful in her new room and was exactly what she was looking for. Since she hates shopping, Amazon certainly filled the bill for her. The fabric was gorgeous and feels nice to the touch. She loves the "grownup" look it gives her.
Its what you would expect
First real big girl bedding I have bought and glad I treated myself to it. It is super satiny so keep that in mind. Other then that the colors are pretty :)
