Not cotton
This is NOT cotton. The fabric is soft and because it is synthetic, it does not wrinkle, but he thing is, it feels synthetic. It looks synthetic. Frankly, I do not believe that I got the same item pictured - and I chose the white. It is incredibly thin and see through. Oh, and a favorite feature is that if you follow the laundering instructions, you can't bleach it or use hot water. Not so great, given that I chose white. And seriously, 1200 thread count is laughable.

Love, love, love my new duvet. Very soft and has held up to several washings. My only regret is that I didn't order several in other colors but will be doing that soon!
Rich elegance and wonderfully soft feel...
My wife and I sleep in a queen-size TempurPedic bed, and we had a queen-size down comforter. Both of us are rather *ahem* shall we say "plus sizes," and the queen size Federdecke (sorry, we both speak German, and Federdecke is the word we use, pronounced "FAY-dur-Deck-ah.") wasn't giving us the overnight coverage we needed. So we purchased a king-size Federdecke and needed duvet covers to go with it. We bought three sets, blue, sage, and brown to go with our fitted sheets and pillowcases.
The duvet cover has little ties at each corner to ensure the Federdecke doesn't bunch up inside the cover, a nice feature. The feel of the fabric is just as soft as can be, and looks wonderful on our bed during the day. The set comes with two sham covers, but since we have specially-fitted ergonomic pillows, we didn't have a use for them.
