Ikea Ransby Duvet Cover and Pillow Sham Set
Packaged and sold under the Ikea label. Manufactured in Pakistan. Quality is acceptable for the price paid.
The print is charming, a contemporary leaf design, tints of gray with slightly creamy white background, very appealing.
I did notice immediately upon opening the package that the fabric, which is very thin loosely-woven cotton, has a lot of starch 'sizing' that is going to wash out in the first laundering, leaving the fabric soft but probably also very limp.
I can see several layers of print through the folded layers, and I know this set is going to require special handling because the fabric is so thin.
Also, checking the seams I see what appears to be a one-thread chain stitch, with separate binding at fabric edges; if it is one-thread chain stitch, if the thread breaks, the seam will let go along its whole length, though the hem binding probably will keep the duvet and shams together.
